The Osun East senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Hon Ajibola Famurewa welcomes the Governor, State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and his deputy, Benedict Alabi to Ife Kingdom on their ‘Thank You Walk’.
Famurewa described the move by the governor and his deputy as the needed one in order to show appreciation to the people who have entrusted them with their mandates.
The lawmaker stated this in a release by his media office in Ilesha on Wednesday.
The statement called on the APC leaders and supporters in the zone and the people of Ife North, East, Central and South Local governments to troop out en mass to welcome the governor.
Oyetola is expected to be in Ife today (Thursday) at 8am and will during the visit pay a homage to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi at his palace before proceeding on the walk with party loyalists.
