The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Osogbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Bukola Oyewo has stated that his emergence will be a blessing to Osogbo being the largest community and will enjoy his representation at the House of representatives of given their mandates.
Bukoy as fondly called by his supporters and admirers stated this in Osogbo during the Walk-for-Bukoy trek organized by Bukoy Sisters in conjunction with Ola-Olohun foundation in Osogbo on Thursday.
Oyewo stated that the state capital has reaped the lion’s share of the progressive representation given by the APC in the last eight years and he will not only complement that but also improve on it.
His words, “Osogbo is the largest community in the constituency and capital of our state, I’ll ensure it is given what it and its deserve it terms of dividends of democracy.
“I want everyone to know that our constituency is too big to be taken back to the fruitless years of PDP’s representation which remain the worst moments of our existence.
“Between 2003 and 2011, the PDP representative gave us no voice, no dividend of democracy and epileptic representation at the House of representatives.
“The APC remains the best party and we are to give Nigerians the best dividend of democracy,” he concluded.
The women numbering over a thousand who are canvassing for Bukoy and other APC candidates started their movement from the popular Almadiyyah junction, the ward of the PDP candidate enroute Aiyetoro, Old garage, Olaiya, Oja-Oba, Oke Baale and terminated it at Almadiyyah junction.
They all appeared in APC branded vests and caps.
