A one – million march rally organised for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari in Niger state on Thursday turned out to be a mess as less than 200 people showed up.

The event Which was organized by Buhari Support Organization had no single member of the APC state working committee in attendance.

Daily Independent reports that only few youths and women attended the rally.

Journalists had been informed by the Niger state coordinator of the BSO, Alhaji Umar Shu’aibu, that the group will mobilise Nigerians to vote massively for the president in the Saturday, February 23 presidential election.

He said the rally will be used to mobilize 1.5m votes for Buhari in the state.

It was gathered that the low turnout is not unconnected with the rancour in the state chapter of the APC.
