The state assembly polls in Osun State is currently witnessing a low turnout across the state.
Polling units observed by our correspondents in Osogbo, Ede, Ilobu and other cities showed that voters are showing apathy to the elections.
Speaking with newsmen, some of the INEC ad hoc staff said the massive turnout experienced last two weeks is currently absent today as some voters have retarded to them homes.
According to the an electorate, Mr Isaac Adeleye, “the low turnout is as a result of the intimidation by the security men in Ede”.
“Some electorates whose houses are in far away new sites were not allowed to come into the family compounds in their vehicles and this made several people to turn back”.
