The candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the ongoing house of Assembly election in Ede North constituency has alleged that there seems to be a connivance between security men and the APC in order to disenfranchise voters.
Alhaji Azeem Adebowale said this at his Ward 1 unit 10 of the local government while casting his vote this morning.
He lamented that the INEC officials showed up at about 7am this morning, they were called back to an unknown place and later showed up at 8:15am.
Azeem also complained that he was accosted by military men today at about 6am and was almost prevented from reaching his polling unit.
He expressed optimism on his victory at the poll but warned that on no account should anyone attempt to deny him of victory having heard that there’s a plot to declare the APC candidate as the winner even if he wins.
He also promised to congratulate the winner if he loses under a free and fair condition.
“If I lose in a free and fair elections, I will accept the defeat and congratulate the winner of the poll. But if otherwise, they will be playing with fire”.
