Collation Officer for Gboko local government areas of Benue state in the supplementary elections, Professor (Mrs) Comfort Dooshima has been shot on Saturday, Premium Times has reported.
Dooshima, who’s a professor at University of Agriculture, Makurdi was shot by gunmen who ambushed her while going to INEC headquarters in Makurdi.
She has been rushed to Benue State university teaching hospital.
Gboko is one of the local governments where Re-run election took place on Saturday.
