There have been fresh revelations of the APC’s secret plans to attack and sabotage the Governor Udom’s government through several unfounded blackmails and propaganda. The latest revelation of the APC’s inordinate activities against the PDP government led by Governor Udom Emmanuel is their plot to use the APC media hirelings to formulate negative and unfounded criticisms against the Udom-led administration in order to cause distraction and deter Governor Udom Emmauel from carrying out his development policies for the state.
An APC source who disclosed this secret plots by the APC to this reporter said that the APC bigwigs in Akwa Ibom State have already sent memos to all the Chapter Chairmen of the Party across the 31 Local Government Areas in the state, to mobilize their supporters and cause all manners of blackmails and atrocities against Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration in order to put the Udom’s government at logger heads with his people.
Our source who is an APC Chieftain in the state and pleaded anonymity on the matter, exposed that APC supporters have been mandated to litter the state by dumping refuge indiscriminately and make it difficult for the government to tackle it, and have also arranged with their media hirelings to renew and fortify their social media platforms, possibly using pseudonym to abuse, insult and attack Governor Udom Emmanuel and other key members of the State Executive Council.
The APC chieftain told this reporter that the reason for the APC’s latest dubious plots against the Udom Emmanuel administration is occasioned by their woeful failure at the 2019 polls; and they have vowed never to make the PDP government to see the light of the day. But having failed in their desperate plans to clinch the Hilltop mansion through rigging, the APC has allegedly devised the blackmail, media attack and propaganda method to sabotage the PDP government led by Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
Frontline members of the state executive committee including the Commissioner for Works, Mr. Ephraim Inyangeyen, that of Women Affairs, Dr. Glory Edet, Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Linus Nkan, Commissioner for Special Duties, Mr. Akan Okon, Arch. Ime Ekpo, Commissioner for Lands and several other stakeholders in Udom’s administration are also the targets for the APC’s attacks.
Our source wondered why the APC has refused to concede defeat and join hands to support the government of Governor Udom Emmanuel who is passionate about the peace development of the entire Akwa Ibom people and industrialization of the State, to succeed.
