In its bid to eradicate poverty and empower its people, the Ilobu-Asake Development Union has once again secured another partnership with United Nations Development Programme aimed at empowering people.

The partnership according a release made available to Insight Media by IDU Publicity Secretary, Mr Kazeem Alabi is to train youth and women on several vocational skills.

The skills include production of soap, bead making, dusting powder, foot mat, tie and die, quintet balm, izal and others.

Mr Alabi added that the programme, planned to be an intensive training will run for two days starting from Tuesday, April 9th to Wednesday, April 10 at Ilobu House Complex, Ilobu, at 10am daily.

He therefore enjoined people to turn out en mass for the training as it costs them nothing.
