Olaluwoye told the court that the defendant broke into Mr Abdulwahab Oseni’s apartment, through the back door and stole his Dell laptop valued at N294,000.

She told the court that the defendant also stole Oseni’s iPhone XS valued at N429, 600 from the apartment.

“My Lord, it was the security guard on duty that noticed the defendant and two other suspects breaking into the apartment and alerted the police.

“The other suspects, who are at large, fled the scene when police arrived.

“The stolen items are, however, yet to be recovered,” Olaluwoye said.
