A front line community leader in the State of Osun and Permanent Secretary, State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, has facilitated with Muslim faithful on Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, which marks the completion of the Ramadan fast, a major pillar of Islam.
In a statement released to newsmen earlier this morning in his country home, Modakeke, Kolawole urged Muslims to promote a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another in the spirit of the celebrations.
According to him, the top education echelon in the State of Osun said: ” I felicitate with the Muslim faithful all over the world, particularly that of Osun on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr after completion of the Ramadan fast, a major pillar of Islam.”
“We thank Almighty Allah for the very rare privilege He bestows us for seen us through this holy month of Ramadan, we must admit that it wasn’t our doing that kept us this far neither are we the most pious of His creators but because Allah count us among His blessed ones, that is why we are among the living today”
“The Holy month of Ramadan is an opportunity for us as Muslims to deepen our relationship with Allah, promote a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another, this we have all done within our means and capacity in this just-concluded month”
“I urge all Muslims in our dear State of Osun to sustain these values even after the Holy month to build a prosperous and peaceful society where everyone can actualize their dreams, he concluded”.
