The Member-Elect to represent Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja, Hon. Bukola Oyewo has felicitated with all Muslims in his constituency, Osun state and the country at large on the celebration of the 2019 Eid-il-Fitr.
Oyewo made this known in a press statement signed by him and obtained by Insight Media on Monday, in Osogbo.
He congratulated the Muslim faithful on a successful completion of the Ramadan Fast and enjoined all Nigerians to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for the peace, unity, prosperity and stability of the nation.
Bukoy, as fondly called said “I admonished Nigerians to shun hate speeches and divisive tendencies and join hands with the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to build a peaceful, strong and united Nigeria so as to achieve the next level of socio-economic development.”
He reaffirmed the determination of the Federal Government to protect the lives and property of all citizens.
The Ifon-Orolu-born politician restated government’s desire for all Nigerians to be inspired by the virtues gained during the Holy Month of Ramadan to live a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another. He however urged the citizen to support President Muhammad Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State in other to achieve a successful tenure in their respective offices.
