Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa has condoled with the family of Sheikh Modibbo Herwagana over the death of the Shiekh.

Governor Inuwa said he received with sadness the news of the demise of Sheikh Modibbo Sule Herwagana who died on Sunday at the age of 71.

Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya in a statement issued on Sunday by his Spokesman, Ismaila Uba Misilli described the late religious leader as a great scholar, who lived a simple life and spent greater part of his life imparting islamic knowledge and guiding people in the service of Almighty Allah.

The Governor described the Sheikh’s death as a huge loss, not only to the deceased’s immediate family, but the entire state.

He extended the condolences of the Government and people of Gombe state to the bereaved family as well as to the Tijjaniyya community and the entite Muslim ummah in the state.

Governor Yahaya prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his Shortcomings and grant him Aljannat Firdaus.
