The Minister of state for mines and steel development, Dr Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah have expressed shock over his portfolio as a junior minister in the mines and steel development ministry.
Ogah stated this while addressing a cross section of friends and well wishers who gathered to rejoice with him after his swearing in as the Minister of state for mines and steel.
“When the President was reading the portfolio, out of my study for me, I don’t know anything about mines and I don’t know anything about steel, ” he Ogah.
Ogah was during the ministerial screening by the senate drilled on oil & gas and Agriculture.
Before his appointment Dr Ogah contested the Abia Governorship election on the 9th of March 2019, but lost heavily to the incumbent Dr okezie Victor Ikpeazu of the PDP.
