The Nigerian Board of Technical Education has lauded the state-of-the-art facilities put in place at Elerinmosa Institute of Technology, Erin-Osun, describing them as ‘marvelous’.
This was said by an inspection team of the board led by Abdul Issa Kufarmata, a deputy director in charge of enterprise and institutions that visited the institution on Tuesday.
Speaking with the newsmen shortly after the inspection, Mr Kufarmata stated that the mission of the team was to assess both human and material resources that the school has put in place for the commencement of the academic activities in three computer engineering technology – Hardware engineering, software engineering and networking and system security.
He said that institution has done beyond expectations and the board is impressed by facilities put in place by the governing council and management of the Institute.
His words, “I want to say that the team is impressed with what we have seen so far. I want to commend the proprietor of the institution for doing a marvelous job by investing hugely in this sector of education. The future looks bring for the students, institution and the host community.”
The Deputy Director also emphasized that the future of education is moving towards skill acquisition and must be embraced by all and sundry as it remains the only way forward.
Earlier in his address, the Proprietor and Chairman of governing council, Engineer Hassan Alao appreciated the team and promised to abide strictly by the rules of operation in administering the school.
Represented by Alh Ibrahim Alao, the Asiwaju of Erin-Osun said his motivation for bring the school is informed by his passion for technical education and technological advancements as they are the trendy issues and areas of diversification around the world. He added that the institution is set to impact meaningfully on students and society at large.
In his reaction, the acting Rector of Elerinmosa Institute of Technology, Mr Lukman Adewale Ajao appreciated the diligence and calmness deployed by the team to go through all the facilities. He expressed satisfaction over the comment made by the team and promised to put the amendments in place in few days.
Mr Ajao said the institution will commence fully in October with the three departments and thus invite admission seekers to take advantage of the opportunity to equip themselves with digital skills.
