The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has been hit by crisis as members staged a protest to demonstrate their rejection of the choice of popular Oshodi union member, Musiliu Akinsanya, popuularly known as MC Oluomo as the caretaker chairman.

There was palpable tension in many units of the NURTW unit in Lagos as hundreds of members of the union marched out in protesting a the Lagos State secretariat in Alausa, Lagos State.

The protest came as a result of the decision of the national headquaters of the union to dissolve the state council, and appointing popular Oshodi union member, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo as the caretaker chairman.
