The Nigerians for Buhari Again, (NfBA) has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, on the President’s victory on Wednesday at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

The five-man panel tribunal led by Justice Mohammed Garba had dismissed the petition by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in its entirety, saying they failed to prove their case beyond reasonable doubts.

In a statement signed by in Abuja, by the National Coordinator of the group, Engr (Dr) Olayinka Ayinde, the group said the tribunal ruling vindicated millions of Nigerians who after the elections admonished Atiku not to challenge Buhari’s victory at the poll on the grounds that the Presidential Election was clearly won by Buhari.

The statement said the tribunal judgment did not just confirm the faith and support of millions who thronged to vote Buhari for a second term in office, but a resounding victory for our country’s democracy.

“We heartily congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress for the judgment of the tribunal which confirmed his re-election this year.

“The Wednesday’s judgment only vindicated millions of Nigerians who admonished Atiku not to go court to contest against your victory at the poll for reasons that your election was free and fair.”
