An Abuja Federal High Court presided over by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu on Monday varied the bail conditions of Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, Justice Ojukwu said she found it difficult to believe a man of Sowore’s Calibre did not have anyone to deposit N50 million.

The court had earlier granted a N100 million bail to Sowore with two sureties who must be resident in Abuja and have landed properties within the federal capital territory.

The court went on to vary Sowore’s bail condition thus; reduced the N100 million bail to N50 million and removed 50 million security deposits.

For Bakare, the N50 million bail was reduced to N20 million. (The Punch)
