There are reports that crisis broke out at the factional meeting of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s led Edo People’s Movement turned bloody in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Unconfirmed sources told reporters that some community leaders who had earlier opposed to the gathering of the group in the area engaged the leaders in fisticuffs which resulted to a free for all fight in which weapons were freely used.
Several vehicles parked within the vicinity of the meeting area were damaged, while some EPM loyalists sustained various degree of injuries.
A former Civil Commissioner in Edo State, during the administration of Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, Mr. Abdul Oroh was said to have been the brain behind the meeting.
The alleged host is reported to have fled for safety as many people were injured.
