The Nigerian Navy has announced that it has commenced the recruitment exercise of those Higher National Diploma (HND) holders and degree graduates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) category.
In a statement on Wednesday, October 2 by the Commodore Suleman, the director of information of the Nigerian Navy, all those interested in the applying must be citizens of the country by birth, have at least second class upper division for degree holders and upper credit for those with HND certification, The Nation reports.
The force also stated that male applicant must be minimum of 1.68m height while the female applicant must be minimum of 1.65 tall.
The statement added that all interested candidates must have been done the necessary one year national service or have an exemption certificate for such and must not below 22 years or older than 28 by Thursday, February 2020.
The above-mentioned age limit can only be forgone in the area where the applicants are coming in as Imams, Chaplains or medical consultants. In that case, they must not exceed 30 years for the formal and 40 years for the latter position.
The statement also said that the force website will be opened till Thursday, November 14, for those interested in the applying.
