The Member representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo has expressed confidence in the ability of the new Commissioners and Special Advisers to further consolidate on the pedigree of the State of Osun, which earned the state recognitions, respect and honour both nationally and globally.
The Lawmaker who congratulated cabinet members on their swearing-in and subsequent appointment with portfolios as member of the State Executive Council, expressed optimism that they will do the state and indeed the nation proud.
Oyewo described their portfolios as a well deserved and befitting one considering their experience and expertise. He remarked that “On behalf of my family and the good people my constituency, I wish to rejoice with all the new Commissioners and Special Advisers for being found worthy by Mr. Governor to join his next level cabinet.
This is indeed a promising team and round pegs in round holes. This gladdens my hearts, as it is a big plus for our state, considering your various expertise and sound background in the state and your track records of service to the state of Osun and Nigeria in general”.
He then enjoined the new cabinet members to see the new task as a challenge to make more remarkable impacts both in their portfolios and other fields of human endeavors by deploying their vast experience, network and depth of knowledge to reposition their various sector in line with Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s ‘Next Level’ agenda.
