The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji has been honoured with Award of Excellence on Investigative Journalism by the State Government.
Ayantunji’s award was part of activities marking first anniversary of the State Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola in office.
The NUJ chairman was presented with the award by Governor Oyetola on Wednesday at Aurora Event Centre in Osogbo.
Reacting to the award, Ayantunji expressed delight and dedicated it to all journalists in the state.
He said, “I am highly delighted with Award of Excellence in Investigative Journalism by the State of Osun Government.
” I accept it as a cooperate award and dedicate it to all Journalists in Osun for your professionalism, dexterity, trust, confidence and support. This is a motivation to do more in bringing dignity to journalism profession. Power is a Great Responsibility.”
