The Nigerian for Buhari Again has congratulated the newly elected governors of Bayelsa and Kogi States, Mr David Lyon and Governor Yahaya Bello respectively, over their victories at last Saturday’s polls.
In a message by the National Coordinator of the group, Dr Olayinka Ayinde on Friday in Abuja, the group aligned with the statement of President Muhammadu Buhari by describing their emergence as deserved ones.
Ayinde charged the Governor Bello to use his second term of office to work hard towards uniting the state and giving its people more dividends of democracy.
He added that Nigerians in general and Kogites in particular believe that the youthfulness of Governor Bello will be brought to bear to ensure that a solid foundation is laid for the prosperity of the Confluence State.
While charging the Bayelsa governor-elect to use the resources of the state to change for better, the narratives in the Southern State, Ayinde also encouraged him to be a bridge builder who would spend more time working for everyone in the state.
He also called on Lyon to be magnanimous in victory by forming an inclusive government devoid of sentiment as he has a bigger challenge of surpassing what all the past PDP Governments have done.
