A middle-aged man on Thursday attempt to attack President Muhammadu Buhari in Argungun, Kebbi state.
In a video that has now gone viral, the man holding a suspect dangerous object, broke into the barricade of security and was moving towards the president who was set to take pictures with other dignitaries at the event.
It took the intervention of a military personnel attached to the president to prevent the attack.
The aim of the attacker is still unknown. He was however dragged and beaten by security details.
Other people set to take picture with the president are Kebbi state Governor, Isa Bagudu, his deputy and other top government functionaries.
