There was pandemonium yesterday in Benin City, Edo state capital as more than three vehicles were involved in an auto crash.
The incident, which happened at popular Upper mission road was as a result of rushing by residents who wanted to beat the 7pm curfew set by the state government.
The Governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki, some days ago, imposed a curfew in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
As at time of this report, no death was recorded at the scene of the incident as individuals involved were rushed to a nearby hospital.
Edo state currently has over 20 confirmed cases from the total 1532 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
