As the Nigerian Center for Disease Control announced 553 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the country on Saturday May 30, Nigerians on social media, most especially, Twitter have continued to ask questions.
Of the 553 new cases, 378 of them were recorded in Lagos alone, the highest so far in a single day since the pandemic started in February this year.
Nigerians are expressing shock at the increasing number of cases of the viral disease in Lagos which has remained the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria.
