Three main contestants in the Ondo state gubernatorial election have each secure highest votes in their respective polling units.

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress won his polling unit with a wide margin.

At his ward 5 Ijebu Owo unit, he polled 413 votes to defeat PDP candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, who garnered 12. ZLP’s Ajayi had zero vote.

Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede won his unit as he polled 220 votes to defeat Akeredolu of the APC who scored 60 and Agboola who polled seven votes.

Jegede votes at Unit 009, Ward 2, Akure LG located inside Sacred Heart Primary School, Cathedral area of Akure.

At the second unit in the primary school, Jegede polled 158 votes to defeat APC candidate who polled 43 and ZLP candidate Ajayi Agboola who polled four votes.

In his own unit, ZLP’s Ajayi also won at his unit located at Idumado Quarters, Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government.

Ajayi scored 395 votes while the candidate of the Akeredolu got 13 and Jegede polled 5.
