#EndSARS protest has continued to rock all the southern states of the country as Nigerian youth are hell bent on scrapping the police unit called Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
On Saturday, youths in Ede, Osun State took to street to join the call to #EndSARS as the demonstrated peacefully across the town.
The youths, who were armed with placards with several inscriptions all calling for scrapping of the unit, visited the palace of the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal; the Ede police division and other notable areas.
At the palace, security personnel received the protesters on behalf of the monarch and promised that the monarch will continue to work towards their welfare.
Hon Azeem Adebowale, a former House of Assembly candidate, addressed the protesters, urging them to remain peaceful in their conduct.
The politician also used the opportunity to call on the police authority and the federal government to urgently act to the yearnings of the youths.
The protesters also visited the Ede police division to register their grievances and were addressed by the Divisional Police Officer.
The protest was led by the CEO of Replica 21 Musci and was wholly peaceful.
