Some residents of Osogbo, Osun State capital on Friday looted a private warehouse located at MDS, old garage, Osogbo.

It was gathered that some individuals after looting the Cocoa house in Ede, where COVID-19 palliatives were allegedly hoarded, identified the warehouse as a possible location for other palliative materials in the state capital.

But military personnel took over the facility around 2:30pm, while hundreds of residents gathered around the vicinity waiting to loot the store.

However, some hoodlums quickly identified another store and carted away some electronics, such as television, radio and gallons of oil.

InsightMedia has reported how angry residents of Ede invaded the Cocoa house and carted away the food items warehoused the in facility. The items carted have CACOVID inscriptions on them.

Some military personnel later stopped the hoodlums and recovered some goods.

Same scenario has been recorded in other parts of the country like Oyo, Ondo, Kwara and Lagos States.
