Representatives member, Bamidele Salam has congratulated the newly ratified acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, in Osun State, Hon. Sunday Bisi.
Salam in a statement he personally signed on Friday also commended the National Working Committee of the party under the leadership of Prince Uche Secondus.
Hon Sunday was on Friday pronounced acting chairman of the party in Osun state by the National Working Committee to see out the tenure of the outgoing chairman, Hon Soji Adagunodo in line with extant laws of the party.
While congratulating Hon Sunday Bisi on his new assignment as PDP helmsman in the state, the Lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun State in the national assembly enjoined leaders and other critical stakeholders of the party to work in harmony with the chairman in order to achieve the goals being set before the PDP by the highly expectant people of Osun State.
The statement reads in part; “I feel elated to associate with the good news of my brother, Hon Sunday Bisi becoming the chairman of the party at this time. I have known my brother to be a diligently focused enigma, who as a true Ijesa blood, would not be distracted away from any set objective at any given time”
“I urge the new chairman to work assiduously towards total reconciliation in the party and give a leadership that will bring everyone on board and consolidate on the gains recorded by Hon Soji Adagunodo, Elder Sunday Atidade and all past chairmen of the PDP in Osun State”
I earnestly look forward to working with the new chairman in my personal capacity and on behalf of the fantastic people of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo federal constituency and for the
overall benefit of the good people of Osun State”.
