The Speaker, State of Osun House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Timothy Owoeye has congratulated the Governor of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola on the celebration of his two years in office.

The speaker described the two years of Oyetola led administration in the state as one that has performed wonders in the transformation of the state of the virtuous.

Owoeye in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Alabi commended the administration for doing everything possible to bridge the gap between government and the citizenry through frequent engagements with the public on government policies.

He also lauded Governor Oyetola for embarking on numerous capital projects despite the “force majeure” that ravaged the entire world economy.

The Speaker said, ” The Governor in two years has performed creditably well, the Oyetola led administration in our dear state was able to embark on numerous projects, fulfill it’s obligations as well as make life meaningful for the people of the state, wordy of mention is the prompt payment of salaries, pensions, and the recent salary increase in the state.

“I wish to once again reiterate that the 7th Assembly under my watch will at all times be a partner in progress in ensuring that the lives of our people becomes more meaningful and better than the way it was.

“The 7th Assembly will always be with you in your bid to further unlock the potentials of our state towards economic prosperity as envisioned by our founding fathers”.

The Speaker while praying that the remaining years of Governor Oyetola witness more progress and Sustainable growth, called on residents and people of the state to cooperate with government by paying their taxes for the state to witness more development.
