As Governor Gboyega Oyetola is celebrating his second anniversary, an aspirant for Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Engr. Olufemi Akosile has congratulated the Governor over his achievements in office.
Akosile, in a congratulatory statement signed on Thursday, described Oyetola as an icon of good governance, stating that his two years in office are unprecedentedly laced with achievements.
The APC chieftain said the people of the state are lucky to have Oyetola as the helmsman at this time, stating that his experience has helped in stabilizing the state.

The statement partly read, “the mid-term assessment (or achievements) of Mr. Governor are visible to everyone. Oyetola’s two years in office has redefined governance.
“Under our dynamic and prudent Governor, civil servants are being paid their salaries in due time. The recent approval of new minimum wage makes evident the good intentions of Oyetola for the workforce of the state.
“Needless to state that the massive infrastructural development that is ongoing will put the state in strong footings for future development, while mining, agriculture are also getting attention as required.
“The achievements of Mr. Governor in health sector, social development and security of our state has made it a desired destination for Investors.
“As Mr. Governor marks his second anniversary, I want to wish him many more achievements as he continues to drive the state to a pedestal of greatness.”
Akosile called on the people of the state to continue to support the governor in his bid to bring about unprecedented transformation in the state.
“I want to enjoin our people to continue giving their maximum support to the governor and our party, the All Progressives Congress, as we approach 2022.” Akosile concluded.
