Governor Godwin Obaseki has appointed Osarodin Ogie as the Secretary to the State Government.
Obaseki revealed this in a statement on Saturday. He said “I have approved the appointment of Osarodion Ogie Esq., as Secretary to the State Government.
“This is the only political appointment to be made for now.
“All other appointments are deferred to the first week of February, 2021
Ogie served as the SSG to Obaseki during the first term and was relieved alongside other cabinet members on Tuesday as Obaseki dissolved the cabinet.
He was considered to be among most powerful men in Edo politics prior to the Governorship Election held on September 19th.
