The Osun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has felicitated with Osun State indigenes on the occasion of 2020 Christmas and the New Year 2021. The party charged Nigerians to emulate the love exemplified by Jesus Christ for all persons.
In a release signed by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo, the party said the Christmas is a period of sober reflection that depicts God’s deep love for humanity who sent his only son the world to cleanse us of all iniquities that may hinder our relationship with our creator.
Adagunodo said the coming of Jesus Christ as a child that was conceived of a Virgin Mary devoid of usual man to woman copulation is spelling the need for all of us to walk in purity of heart in all our dealings with fellow human beings which is the essence of the coming of Jesus Christ that we are all celebrating as Christmas.
Hon. Adagunodo therefore wish all Christians to emulate Jesus Christ by showing love to all irrespective of religious, ethnic, political or social differences because we are all equal before our creator.
He therefore wishes all Osun indigenes a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year in Advance.
