In continuation of his Educational Support Programme, the member representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun state in the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam has again distributed instructional materials worth over 15 million Naira to Public Schools in his federal constituency.
Aside the batch earlier distrubted penultimate week, the items distributed on Monday include; basic Mathematics kits, textbooks on key subjects(including Mathematics and English Language), several thousands of notebook of different sizes, hard-cover notebooks for use of schools administration as well as modern chairs and tables.
Representative Bamidele Salam , who facilitated the items for ease of teaching and learning in both elementary and secondary schools in the federal Constituency, also assured parents and school children of his continued effort to uplift the standard of education in the area just as he urged the students to make optimal use of the materials in laying solid foundations for their future educational attainments.
Some of the schools which cut across the four local governments making up the federal constituency that benefitted from the items include; Muslim grammar school, Ede, L.A Primary School Ojoro, Ede, Seventh Day Adventist Gtrammar school,Ede, Seventh Day Primary school, Ede, and Alawo grammar School,Awo
Others are Iragberi Grammar School, Iragberi, Baptist Primary school, Iwoye, Okinni grammar school, Okinni, Baptist high school, Ejigbo and Baptist Primary School, Ejigbo.
Visibly elated heads of schools and students who received the instructional materials on behalf of their schools, eulogized Rep Bamidele Salam for his untiring vision in making education a core part of his constituency support effort, which according to them, will go a long way in aiding teaching and ease of learning in their various institutions.
Provision of the instructional materials was part of the Constituency Support Program of Rep Bamidele Salam as domiciled with the Universal Basic Education in Abuja. The distribution was supervised by some aides of the Lawmaker alongside representatives of communities where the schools are located.
