A human rights activist, Comrade Adeniyi Alimi Sulaiman has described the death of the spokesperson of the Pan-Yoruba Social-Cultural group,Afenifere, Mr. Yinka Odumakin as a big blow to the human rights Community in Nigeria and Yoruba race across the world.

Reacting to the sudden death of Odumakin , Sulaiman maintained that his death is a collossus loss to progressive minded Nigerians and it is one death too many, describing Odumakin as promoter of just cause and defender of democracy and egalitarian society.

In a signed condolence message on Sunday, he stated that the Nigeria masses have lost a dissecting voice and voice of voiceless in the democratic culture of the country.

According to him:” The death of Mr. Yinka Odumakin is a big loss to genuine progressive class of the country and irreplaceable in the Southerner Nigeria. while on Earth, Odumakin is a defender and promoter of ideal society.

While sympathizing with the President of Women Arise Initiative and wife of Yinka Odumakin, Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin and other members of Odumakin family, Sulaiman urged them to take solace in the purposeful life of their departed patriarch.

He enjoined the associates and family, not to allow the legacy left behind by Yinka Odumakin to die unkept by immortalising his ideals and principles.

Sulaiman who is Executive Chairman Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice (CHRSJ), then prayed to God to give friends, associates and family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
