Olubukola Oyewo, the lawmaker representing Irepodun, Olorunda, Orolu, Osogbo federal constituency, has commiserated with the entire sons and daughters of Ifon-Orolu over the death of His Royal Majesty, Oba Al-Maruf Adekunle Magbagbeola, the Olufon of Ifon-Orolu Kingdom, who recently joined his ancestors.
In his condolence message released on Tuesday, Oyewo described the Olufon’s demise as a ‘painful personal loss’ owing to his association with the late monarch and the giant strides they both worked towards.
Recalling his association with the late Olufon, the lawmaker described him as a committed monarch who deeply loved Ifon-Orolu and continuously advocated for his people.
He said, “I commiserate with the late monarch’s family, sons and daughters of Ifon-Orolu, the Osun State Traditional Council, and the State Government of Osun over the “big loss” of a respected and admired traditional leader’.
“I pray to Allah to forgive the late Oba Magbagbeola’s earthly infractions, grant him Aljanah Firdaus and uphold the entire Community to cope with this great tragedy.”
