Christians have been urged to remain steadfast in prayer as the weather the storm orchestrated by insecurity and economic challenges.

Bishop Mike Bamidele and other notable anointed men of God stated this during this year’s Pentecost Day held in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

Bishop Bamidele said Pentecost Day Celebration is a special day in the Christian calendar, stating that it marks a significant step in the lives of Christians. The man of God urged believers to remain steadfast and be prayerful as the challenges facing the country will soon be over.

In his words, Bishop Dola Salako of Glory Land Christian Center in Osogbo, advised the government to be stronger and come up with more fire towards tackling the current horrendous situation in the country.

“Government should be more proactive in tackling insecurity in Nigeria. Imagine a situation where police officer is killed and his flesh was eaten. The Government should come up with more fire and be stronger on dealing with those threatening existence of Nigeria. You don’t treat this kind of situation with kid gloves. If the government fails to do all this, the nation will be consumed.”

Also speaking at the programme, Bishop Dennis Ibidapo said a programme like Pentecost Day Celebration avail Christians opportunity to receive life-changing experience.

“The take-home for all Christians we’re in the era of the Holy Spirit now. Acceptance of the Holy spirit will make living, work of life and other endeavors easier. This is why we celebrate the Pentecost Day every year.

“We thank God for the life of our Convener, Bishop Mike Bamidele of Victory Life International. The most important thing is that every one must be thirsty to receive that fire that will change their lives. We believe with this kind of event, many will have life-changing experience”
