Deputy Director of ICT, Tai Solarin University of Education, Mrs. Bolanle Lateefat Abimbola has been abducted by unknown men in the late hours of Thursday.
Abimbola was abducted while she was on a transit within Ijebu-Ode township.

The institution spokesperson, Nuraen Bakenne said the management of the institution had put out a notice to notify the public about the incident.
He said efforts of the University management and the family of the abductee, to reach her since yesterday have proven abortive.
Confirming the kidnapping, the Ogun State Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said police have been working tirelessly for the retrieval of Mrs. Bolanle Abimbola from the abductors.

He said the police while channeling all the power within their reach for the release of the University staff, would ensure she (Bolanle Abimbola) comes back unhurt.
