The Federal Capital Territory Administration on Wednesday disbursed a total of N2.6 billion to the six area councils in the FCT and other stakeholders.
The amount was the statutory allocation for June 2021.
The six area councils got the sum of N773. 5 million, while the sum of N.8b was made available to other stakeholders such as primary school teachers, pension funds, among others.
The figure shows that there was a minimal revenue drop from N2.7 billion disbursed in May to N2.6 billion in the month of June.
This was contained in a statement by the Special Assistant on Media to the FCT Minister of State, Austine Elemue.
The statement further said the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu, presided over the 155th Joint Account Allocation Committee where the disbursement was done.
The statement was titled,’ FCTA disburses N2,660,740,632.40 to area councils, stakeholders.’
It read, “The Federal Capital Territory Administration has disbursed a total of N2,660, 740, 632.40 billion to the six area councils in the FCT and other stakeholders.
There was a decline in the last month allocation as a result of the drop in the statutory revenue allocation from the federation account.
