Editor of Insight Multi-Links Media, Mr Jare Tiamiyu has appreciated well wishers who celebrated him on his birthday.
Tiamiyu, whose birthday was on 24th of September, said this appreciation in a video he uploaded on his Facebook page early on Saturday.
The Chairman of Osun State Online Media Practitioners Association described the messages, wishes, calls, prayers and wishes he got on Friday as “overwhelming and memorable”.
His message reads in part, “Friday was a special day for me as I celebrated my birthday. Even though, I didn’t throw a party, but the pool of messages, wishes, prayers and gifts from friends and family are so much overwhelming.
“Seeing my pictures on hundreds of walls of Facebook friends and other social media pages was something I, till now, can’t account for. I’m still asking myself, what would I do to reciprocate the gestures.
“As that was going, I met with my birthday mate, His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr) Dokun Abolarin, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, who in his usual practice, was in the midst of future leaders. The prayer of the Revered Monarch wrapped up a very pleasant day.
“I want to appreciate all my family members, friends, colleagues and fans across the globe for the messages, wishes and gifts. May Almighty Allah bless you all. Thanks for all you do.
“Also to my colleagues and students at Insight Multi-Links Media, I appreciate your love. Thank you all.”
Speaking further, Tiamiyu appreciated his wife, whom he described as his pillar of support and number one fan, for her unflinching love and care.
He said, “Last year, during a mini celebration at my office, a colleague jokingly said, “by next year, your marital status should have changed”. This year, I celebrate as a husband and father. I’m thankful to my wonderful wife, who has been the pillar of support and number fan. Thanks for the unflinching love. I love you, dearest.”
