Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr Obadiah Mailafia is dead.
Mailafia died at the age of 64 at the National Hospital in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The late economist was an ace columnist with Vanguard newspapers and was also a presidential aspirant in the 2019 general election.
He was the candidate of the African Democratic Congress before the party adopted Atiku Abubakar for the polls.
