The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Sunday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa in Abuja.
Sources said Tinubu arrived the Villa after noon and moved straight into a closed door meeting with the president.
Special Adviser to Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina wrote on Facebook, “President Buhari receives APC National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Presidential Villa Oct 31, 2021”.
Details of the meeting has not been made known as at the time of filing this report.
The visit is coming amidst intense rumour that the former Governor of Lagos State has interest in 2023 presidential election.
Even though, Tinubu has not publicly declared interest, a group – South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) – has continued to campaign rigorously for him across the country.
