2021 Independence Day Essay Competition organized by the Osun State Government on Friday came to end with the winner of the tertiary institutions category going home with a 2004 Toyota Corolla car.
Master Ayoola Victor, a student of Bowen University, Iwo, won the contest, while Miss Adegboyega Abisola of Fakunle Comprehensive High School, Osogbo won the secondary school category.
Sponsors of the essay competition include the Chairman, Rachael Adebimpe Sowade Foundation who provided a Toyota Corolla Car 2004 Model for the first winner, two HP Laptops and a Printer.
Interfem Reconstructions Limited donated N100,000 Cheque for the Winner of the Tertiary Institutions category.
Also on the list is Peculiar Ultimate Concerns Limited which donated Laptops and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet for Winners of the Secondary School category.
Omoluabi Holdings Limited donated N50,000 for 1st in Tertiary Category and N20,000 for 1st in Secondary Category;
Other sponsors are ; MTN Foundation donated 150 pieces of 80leaves Notebook, 150 pieces of 60leaves Notebook and 50 pieces of School Bags; Airtel also donated modems, data bundles and recharge cards, while Mr. Seun Odofin donated N200,000 which will be distributed among the 25 finalists of the secondary school category.
