Staff of the Osun State University, Osogbo on Friday fried bean cake (akara) to celebrate the exit of the immediate past Vice Chancellor, Professor Lapode Popoola.
The staff, who gathered at the main campus in Osogbo, were sighted sweeping the floor of the University main building.
A banner erected on the wall of the main building described the outgone University boss as a “mischievous tyrant”.
Professor Popoola’s tenure ended yesterday (November 4), with Prof Afeez Bello resuming today as the acting VC of the institution.
