The osun Amotekun Corps on Tuesday apprehended four gang armed robbers, among them is the leader of the dreaded gang that attack a bank in Okuku earlier this year.
Among the suspects are Kehinde Babalola, 23 years; Timileyin Afolabi 19 years. The were apprehended in Okuku, Odo-otin local government of Osun State, while trying to attack the residents of the town.
Babalola, who hails from Ogbomoso, confessed to be the Mastermind and gang leader of the robbery attack that occurred at Wema Bank Okuku earlier this year. He also confessed to have engage in other robbery activities that occurred in Ibadan and Ile-Ife and terrorizing students of Uni-Osun Okuku Campus.
Other culprit Afolabi who hails from Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State also confessed in engaging in robbery activities with others that leopard against.
The suspects has been handed over to the appropriate authority for further investigation and prosecution.
