Olumide Ademiji, a renowned Chartered Accountant and Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Amobi Yinusa Akintola representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal constituency of Osun state resigned his appointment.
According to a letter signed by Ademiji, which was addressed to the Chairman of National Assembly Service Commission, the resignation is based from personal grounds.
Effort to reach him on phone for reasons behind his resignation proved abortion but information gotten from external sources revealed that he resigned to concentrate on the re-election of Gov. Adegboyega Oyetola, the Governor of Osun State.
His letter partly reads, “This is to bring to the notice of the leadership of National Assembly Service Commission of my desire to resign my appointment as a Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to Hon. Amobi Yinusa Akintola representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa federal constituency, Osun State on personal grounds effective from 31st December, 2021 which is one month from the date of this letter as required in paragraph 3 of my letter of appointment with Reference NO. NASS/PHR/19/0783.
“Sir, I hope my unpaid 2019 salary arrears will be kindly credited to my account so also my other entitlements up to 31st December, 2021.
“I thank my principal, Hon. Amobi Yinusa Akintola for giving me the opportunity to serve and I wish him success throughout his tenure.
“Sir, kindly acknowledge accept.”
