A frontline aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Engr. Olufemi Akosile during the week put smiles on the faces of residents of the two local governments as he distributed food items worth millions of naira to them.
This according to the House of Representatives Aspirant, is to ensure that everyone celebrates the Christmas season joyously in their respective homes.
InsightMedia gathered that the distribution of the food items covered all wards in both local government areas.
Speaking with our Correspondent, Akosile, who is the Chairman of King’s Touch and Care Foundation said he was moved by the need to help humanity and to ensure everyone feels better during this season.
“I was moved by the spirit of love and to ensure everyone feels better during this festive season. This is not our first time as we have been doing this through our foundation, King’s Touch and Care Foundation. We are touched by the need to help humanity”.
“We also believe that we must do our best to compliment the relentless efforts of our amiable Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola who has been distributing food items to all local governments every month. The governor feeds no fewer than 30,000 homes every month and we must also give him kudos for that kind gesture”.
“All wards in our federal constituency are touched, with no discrimination in whatsoever.” Akosile said.
Some of the beneficiaries, who spoke with InsightMedia expressed their happiness over the gesture. They showered praises on Akosile, describing him as “a man of the people.”
