The Youth Leader-elect of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Mr Goke Akinwemimo will on Sunday evening lead youths across the State to show solidarity with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their quest to win the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
Akinwemimo will host youths to watch the match together at the Campaign office of IleriOluwa at Ogo-Oluwa area of Osogbo.
According to a statement obtained by InsightMedia on Saturday in Osogbo, first ten persons arrive at the venue will be given Super Eagles shirts courtesy of the APC youth leaders.
The statement partly reads, “football as been a uniting factor across the globe. To promote this togetherness and unity, the office of the Osun APC Youth Leader will host all youths across all local government areas and party lines to watch the Super Eagles match against Tunisia.
“The main aim is to ensure unity and unanimously show our support to our brothers in Cameroon.
“Apart from snacks refreshments that will be for all, the first ten spectators to arrive will hr given Super Eagles official jerseys as part of motivation from the State APC Youth Leader, Mr Goke Akinwemimo.
“Youths across the State are hereby invited to the merriment. Soar Eagles!”
