The Independent National Electoral Commission has recognised Senator Ademola Adeleke as the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party ahead of Prince Dotun Babayemi.
Adeleke and Babayemi emerged at parallel primaries of the PDP held at Osogbo city stadium and WOCDIF Center respectively on March 8, 2022.
The soul of the party has been subjected to different legal scrutiny and a suit is currently at the Court of Appeal in Akure, Ondo State.
