No fewer than seven chieftains of the People’s Democratic Party have dissociated themselves from the suit instituted at the Osun State High Court sitting in Ijebu-jesa that barred the recognition of the ward Adhoc delegates elected two weeks ago.
The party men after filling an affidavit at the court declared their innocence from court case while addressing newsmen in Osogbo, the State capital.
Their names were among the 33 persons that purportedly filed a suit before Justice A. Aderibigbe seeking the nullification of the ward ad hoc Congress held last month.
Justice A. Aderibigbe in a ruling on Thursday last week mandated the National Working Committee of the party to recognise only the delegates that emerged from the Congress held in September 2021.
The seven local government chairman under the umbrella of PDP,and well known loyalist to Senator Ademola Adeleke was called out by the court of law on 7th March 2022 as party traitors that are ready to antagonize tomorrow’s primaries election, 8th of March 2022.
The party chieftains said, “We were shocked to see our names on the list of the plaintiffs in the case and we wish to state unequivocally that the listing of our names on the court case was fraudulent as we were never consulted before the said case was filed in our names against our great party.

“We have also seen this as an attempt by some disgruntled elements to scuttle our primary election slated for Tuesday, March 8, 2022.”
The party chieftains present are; Saliu Oladimeji from Egbedore LG Ward 4, Alimi Kamoru from Atakumosa west, ward 2; Ayanlade Ayandokun from Ifelodun LG; Aderemi Kabiru from Ifelodun LG, Adebayo Dare from Atakunmosa West LG, Ojo Alegbeleye from Atakunmosa west ward 4, and Olayeni Sunday from Atakunmosa west ward 1.
